Microbank Crystal has signed a USD 20 million senior loan agreement with FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, marking almost a decade [GB1] [MJ2] of successful partnership between the two institutions. The facility, provided in the local currency equivalent, will be used to finance micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across Georgia, with 20% of the financing dedicated to supporting green finance initiatives.
In addition to the financing, the partnership includes a technical assistance component that will support Crystal's institutional development through the implementation of key strategic projects, reinforcing the bank's operational capabilities and long-term growth.
