Tbilisi (GBC) - In Q4 2022 the nominal Gross Domestic Product (GDP) amounted to GEL 20 563.0 million. The real GDP increased by 9.7 percent YoY, while the GDP deflator percentage change equaled to 10.0 percent.

Significant contributions to the real GDP growth in Q4 2022 is related to increase of valueadded of the following activities: Construction (33.2 percent), Information and communication (60.9 percent), Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (13.1 percent), Transportation and storage (27.9 percent), Arts, entertainment and recreation (16.8 percent), Manufacturing (5.0 percent).

A decrease in the real value-added occurred in Real estate activities (-8.7 percent), Human health and social work activities (-8.8 percent), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (-2.8 percent), Professional, scientific and technical activities (-5.2 percent).

The largest share in GDP by activity is held by Trade (16.7 percent) and Real estate activities (10.6 percent), followed by Manufacturing (10.1 percent), Construction (10.0 percent), Transportation and storage (6.6 percent), Public administration (6.1 percent), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (5.3 percent), Information and communication (5.1 percent).
