Tbilisi (GBC) - TBC hands over leadership to BOGG. The Bank of Georgia paid more than 50 million to the management in 2023, while TBC - up to 34 million. 

In addition, TBC Bank CEO Vakhtang Butskhrikidze holds 894,540 shares (£23.5 million), of which more than 827,000 have been cashed.

Archil Gachechiladze, CEO of Bank of Georgia (BOGG), held 718,208 shares (£28 million) late in 2023 and has only cashed out about 400,000.

So, Butskhrikidze loses the title of the richest banker and Gachechiladze takes the leadership.

The 2nd largest shareholder of TBC is Nino Masurashvili, while Giorgi Tkhelidze holds more than 100,000 shares.
