Tbilisi (GBC) - In January-June 2025 the external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 11 934.0 million, 12.8% higher year-on-year,- according to preliminary data from the National Statistics of Georgia.
The exports equaled 3 234.7 million (13.7 percent higher), while the imports stood at USD 8 699.3 million (12.4 percent higher). The negative trade balance was USD 5 464.6 million in January-June 2025 and its sharein external trade turnover constituted 45.8%.
In January-June 2025 the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia amounted to 79.8%. The top partners were Kyrgyzstan (USD 681.3 million), Kazakhstan (USD 414.0 million) and Azerbaijan (USD 341.8 million).
