Tbilisi (GBC) – The Finance Minister, Lasha Khutsishvili reported to the Parliament within the Ministerial Hour. Lasha Khutsishvili, spoke about the issues of cooperation with international and bilateral partners. 

According to him, in 2022, Georgia will join the IDA (International Development Association) donor countries of the World Bank group and this year, Georgia also plans to join the ADF (Asian Development Fund) platform of the Asian Development Bank as a donor organization.

In 2023, Georgia chaired the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) program of the Asian Development Bank, and all planned events were successfully held in Georgia during the year.

Currently, active preparations are underway to host the 57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank in May 2024, which will be the largest event in Georgia, with the participation of up to 4,000 delegates from 68 countries.
