Tbilisi (GBC) - Georgia’s Finance Minister, Lasha Khutsishvili, held discussions with Shomik Mehndiratta, the World Bank’s Practice Manager for Transport in Europe and Central Asia, during his visit to Georgia
The meeting focused on cooperation opportunities, particularly emphasising investment projects in road, railway, and transit transportation.
“The importance of current and upcoming projects, including the construction of the East-West Expressway and the transit potential of the Middle Corridor, was highlighted during the discussions,” the Finance Ministry stated.
Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Finance Minister and Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, attended the meeting.
