Tbilisi (GBC) - According to the preliminary figures released by the National Statistics Office (GeoStat), Georgia’s real GDP grew by 10.7 per cent in March 2026 compared to the same month last year. The average growth for the first quarter of the year stands at 9.1 per cent.

GeoStat reports that sectors such as manufacturing, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, mining, construction, and transport and warehousing made notable contributions to this growth in March 2026.

Conversely, a decline was observed in the administrative and support services sector, as well as in hotels and restaurants.
